In the year 2008 I bought the building you now know as Industry Sports for my first company, 80sTees.com.  We used it to warehouse and ship out t-shirts.    By the year 2018 I was able to run the business without bringing t-shirts to a central warehouse so I started the transition to a fully outsourced operation and by 2019 I had leased out the building to another company.

My tenant ran into business problems and surrendered the warehouse back to me in early 2020 just as Covid was shutting everything down.  So I decided to put a basketball court in for personal use.  I put a Cobra Kai logo on the court because I have a pretty cool connection to both the movie The Karate Kid as well as the Netflix show Cobra Kai

After having practices and scrimmage games word spread and before I knew it people were asking to rent the court for practices and birthday parties.  Eventually there was enough demand that I decided it was worth a shot to turn it into a real business.

I added the batting cages and turf fielding area because I felt the area could use a really nice facility for softball and baseball teams to get their winter training done.

We added the second basketball court in the fall of 2022.  This time I went with a ThunderCats logo at center court because it’s an awesome logo and it’s from the 80s.

I’m always brainstorming new ways to expand, and I’m sure there will be some other spaces and activities in the future!
